Largs from Douglas Park, 1988
A view over Largs towards Bute from the viewpoint at the top of Douglas Park. Those who know Largs might notice the most obvious difference here being the large vacant piece of land on the left where The Marine & Curlinghall Hotel once stood. Today there are flats on the site. Other points of note are that the railway station canopy is still intact, this was so badly damaged in 1995 by a run away train that it had to be demolished.
