The Grey Cairns of Camster
One of the most impressive examples of a chambered Cairn you will see anywhere in Scotland. It dates from around 5,000 years ago at a time when the land here was more fertile. There are two chambers in the 60m length of the Cairn. It is thought they started as two separate round Cairns and were joined at some point.
