Views of the Forth Road bridge taken 8 months after it was opened in Septmeber 1964 by the Queen. When built it was Europe's longest suspension bridge and even today it remains the longest such bridge in Scotland with a central span of 1km. 50 years on and the bridge has now been replaced although still in use by buses and pedestrians.
