Campbeltown Loch NATO jetty
Built in the 1960's at the height of the cold war this is one of 4 similar fuel depots on the west coast of Scotland designed to supply Royal Navy and NATO forces.  They are capable of handling Gas Oil and Aviation fuel and the total capacity of all 4 depots is 600 million litres.  Today they are operated commercially.
