HMS Ark Royal undergoing trials in early 2010 on the Clyde. She was the last of the 3 Invincible Class Light Aircraft Carriers to be built. She was launched in 1981 by Swann Hunter on the Tyne. A year after this photo was taken she was decomissioned.
