US Navy warships anchored off Greenock
Its not a particularly common sight to see so many foreign warships anchored on the Greenock side of the river Clyde. This was taken in October 2004 which is around the time navel excercises often take place off the west coast of Scotland. The vessel on the right is the Ticonderoga class Guided missile Cruiser USS Anzio (CG68) and the one on the left is as an unknown Alreigh Burke Class Destroyer.
