Loch Kishorn
Looking across Loch Kishorn, on the right Sgurr a Chaorachain rises to some 792m. On the left at the shore you can see what appears to be cliffs. This is a dry dock constructed in the 1970's and used to construct the concrete base for the Ninian Oil field. It was only used once more to fabricate parts for the Skye Bridge. After more than 20 years it is about to have a new lease of life as the fabrication base for a new off shore wind farm.
