Lochgilphead, Loch Fyne
Lochgilphead lies at the head of Loch Gilp, a small loch off Loch Fyne. It was a planned town laid out in 1790. This picture was taken on a damp early autumn morning and doesn't really do the place justice. The town is a welcome stop for the traveller on the long journey from Glasgow to Campletown.
