Inside the large Dome at Kibble Palace
Kibble Palace is without doubt the most spectacular of the varies glass houses in any of Glasgow's parks. This photo was taken in 2006 just after it re-opened following a major restoration, hence the reason the plantings aren't very tall. The area holds the national collection of Australasian tree ferns. Many of these date back to the mid 19th century and have grown in the Kibble Palace for the last 120 years.
