Handley Page Victor Strategic Bomber, Duxford 1992
The Victor was the last of the 3 "V Bombers" the RAF put in to service,  Conceived as a strategic Nuclear Bomber, XH648 first entered service in 1959 but by 1968 they had all been withdrawn from service.  Many, like this one, were converted into tankers, XH648 was retired in 1976 when it came to the Imperial War Museum here at Duxford.
