Burghead Harbour
The harbour area in the small village of Burghead. Burghead was a planned town and was built between 1805 and 1809. Unfortunately at that time prehistoric sites didn't have the protection they have now and the construction resulted in the destruction of a significant part of what is one of the most important Pictish Forts in the area.
