Over looking Boat of Garten Railway station, now part of the Strathspey Railway. The line was opened in 1863 but closed in 1968. In 1971 the Strathspey railway company was formed and they bought the Aviemore to Grantown line from British Rail. Boat of Garton station was still intact at the time. Today steam trains run from Aviemore to Broomhill during the summer months.
