No other City in the UK can boast at having a Volcano at its centre. Aurthur's seat towers 823ft above the centre of Edinburgh. The cranes visibile in the picture are at the site of the new Scottish Parliament building, this picture was taken in August 2001, another ?300m has been spent on the building since then and it should fianlly open in 2004.... or maybe 2005.
