Boylestone Quarry, Barrhead
It is difficult to get an idea of scale from this photo, some of the large boulders you see in the quarry are the size of cars.  Copper was mined from volcanic rocks here in the 20th century, today it is a designated sight of special sceintific interest (SSSI).
