Cruck Cottage, Torthorwald

A very traditional type of dwelling but now a great rarity in Scotland. It was lived in until the 1960's and then fell into disrepair until restored by Solway Heritage in 1990. The building is now catagory A listed by Historic Scotland. Map location.
