Stoneyholm Mill, Kilburnie

Stoneyholm sits in the centre of Kilburnie and dates from 1831. It was built as a cotton spinning Mill and later adapted for Flaz spinning. Latterly it has been used by a manufacturer of fishing nets and twine but is mainly used for storage. It is presently on the buildings at risk register but there is a local group aiming to preserve and regenerate the mill. Map location.
