Looking out from the western side of the Wee Cumbrae
On the right is the lighthouse built in 1793, now disused. To the left of that is what was presumably the compressor building for the foghorn, this is the present day automatic lighthouse with a rather unimpressive small beacon on top of a pole. On the horizon on the left is the Island of Arran shrouded in mist, on the right is the tail end of the Island of Bute. Map location.
