Paisley Abbey, south west view
A view of the oldest part of the 12th century Abbey. The tower collapsed in the 16th century which left the eastern end in a ruined state. A wall was built to allow the remaining western part of the building to be used. It wasn't until the late 19th and early 20th century the the tower and eastern end was rebuilt as you see today.
