Castle Kennedy Gardens, near Stranraer

Castle Kennedy Gardens are open to the public from April till September and well worth a visit, especially in early summer when the rhododendron and Azalea are in bloom. The garden extends to some 30 hectares. In the background the ruins of the 14th century castle can be seen. Map location
