Luss is a pleasant village on the western side of Loch Lomond, now by-passed by the main A82 it has become a good place to stop and admire the views over Loch Lomond. The sight of smoke coming from house chimneys is a thing of the past in most places :-) Its main claim to fame was its setting for the Scottish Television soap, Take the High Road, some may say that this fact is best forgotten.
