Bruce's Stone, Moss Raploch, Galloway Forest Park
The site where King Robert The Bruce defeated an English army in 1307.  Bruce is said to have rested against the stone after the battle, he must have done a lot of resting because Scotland is full of stones named after him.  The Loch is a modern artifact formed by the Clatteringshaws Hydro Dam.
