M.V. Loch Shira, Largs
M.V Loch Shira awaits its evening passengers on the crossing to the Great Cumbrae from Largs Pier.  She was built at Ferguson Shipbuilders in Port Glasgow further up the Clyde.  She is much larger than previous ferries on this crossing and has a much higher level of accomodation for passengers over the car deck.  Designed to carry 250 passengers and a maximum of 36 cars.
