Hunterston Ore Terminal Panorama
Over looking the artificial lake created by the railway embankment. Hunterston Ore Terminal was conveived in the late 60's when there were great plans for an integrated steal industry in Scotland. Today it mainly deals with imported coal, some leaves by rail and some is taken back out by smaller ships over to N. Ireland.
