A view of the two World Trade Centre Towers taken from the air in 1989. The last tower was completed in 1973, not counting the Telecommunications mast they stood at 417m tall but was surpassed as the tallest building in the world by the Willis Tower (Sears Tower) in Chicago in 1973.
