Taken on the 25th of July 1990 on the day of the QE2's first return to the Clyde since being completed by John Brown's ship yard on the upper Clyde in 1968. The esplanade was lined with crowds of people all wanting a glimpse of the last Ocean Liner built on the Clyde.
