The Spanish Air Defence Frigate Mendez Nunez visiting Leith Harbour in 2016. Built at the Nevantia shipyard in Spain she was commissioned in 2006. The ship uses the American Aegis Combat System which has a phased array radar at its heart capable of tracking multiple targets, two of the arrays are visible here on the superstructure above the bridge.
