Bellahouston Park, Glasgow Looking south west from Bellahouston park on a cold December day. In 1982 this park was chosen as a venue for the visit of Pope John Paul II. The Pope addressed a crowd of 300,000 from a stage erected close to the small wall on the right of this photo. The Gleniffer Braes are in the background and on the right are the snow cover Renfrewshire Heights.
