Opened in 1913, Edinburgh Zoo remains Scotlands busiest visitor attractions, second only to Edinburgh Castle. These shots show some of the animals that were to be seen at the zoo in 1962/63, all the same types are still there today, the Flamingos are still about the first thing you see on the way in.
