Grave of Field Marshall Douglas Haig, Dryburgh Abbey
The unassuming grave of Earl Haig and his wife.  Haig was a figure of controversy due to the 2 million British casualties under his command during World War I.  More recently he has been recognised for his tactics and adoption of new technologies.  The losses were more to do with warfare of the time rather than Haigs leadership.
