The Long Cairn, Camster
A side view of the Long Cairn at Camster on a gloomy summer day just as the rain started. The people on the left give an idea of the scale, it is some 61m in length and dates from 5,000 years ago. There are two chambers although it is thought there might be a third. it also thought it may have started as three round Cairns that were joined at some later date.
