Hugh Miller's Cottage, Cromarty
The birth place of [url=http://www.hughmiller.org/] Hugh Miller [/url] in 1802.  Educated locally but with no academic credentials, he is today considered one of Scotland's premier paleontologists.  He was a great writer and brought out many books on the subject of Geology.  He was also a very religious man and became involved in many religious and political controversies of the time.
