The Maid of the Loch, Loch Lomond shores
Built at Inglis shipyard in Glasgow in 1953, it was then dismantled, brought to Balloch and then re-assembled. It ran pleasure cruises on Loch Lomond until 1981 when it was taken out of service, it lay abandoned and vandalised for 10 years before being rescued. It is now in the hands of a charitable trust and the eventual long term plan is to have her steaming again on the loch
