Mearns Castle
A traditional fortified house dating from the 15th century. Rather bizzarly in the 1970's a church was built immediately behind it with a rather unattractive metal design. The only good thing about it is that the castle is now in partial use by the church but I certainly wouldn't like to see this sort of thing done with other similar castles.
