Avenue of Redwoods, Younger Botanic Gardens, Benmore
The younger Botanic Gardens, near Dunoon, are an outstation of the Edinburgh Botanic Gardens. The lodge and estate were given to the nation in 1925 by Harry Younger. The gardens are probably best known for this avenue of Californian Redwoods, planted in 1863 and now exceeding 131ft in height, notice the size of the people in the distance.
