BAE Systems, Prestwick
At first glance its just another of the large defence contractors factories. But this building first stood in Bellahouston Park in Glasgow as the Palace of Engineering in the spectacular 1938 Empire Exhbition. It was later aquired by Scottish Aviation and rebuilt here at Prestwick, from the outside its appearance is much as it would have been in 1938.
