Overlooking Edinburgh City towards Arthur's seat
This is the view from the top of Edinburgh Zoo. On the left behind the tree the Castle can be seen. The centre of the picture is dominated by the 250m high Arthur's Seat. The hill is the basalt lava plug from an extinct volcano that was active some 335 million years ago.
