Dr Syntax's Head, Land's End, England, 1991
This is the most Westerly promintary of mainland England. The rather odd name is from an invented name by the writer William Crombe and comes from his comic verse of 1809. The lighthouse you see off shore is the Longhouse Light dating from 1869 and still in use today after having been automated in 1988.
