Looking out from Ardeer
Owned by ICI until 1998, the site was formerly the largest explosives plant in the world and home to Alfred Nobel's Explosives Company. Activity on the site was at its peak during the 1950's and 60's when nearly 15,000 worked here. Today the site is awaiting clean up and redevelopment. http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=228640&Y=639397&A=Y&Z=115
