Panoramic View from ROC Post 23
The view from ROC Post 23. Most Posts are in locations with wide open views since their purpose was to monitor the effects of a nuclear attack. During the cold war Post 23 was in the unenviable position of being only a few miles from both the RN Polaris base at Faslane and the US Navy Polaris base at Holly Loch. The Cumbrae is on the left and Rothsey is in the distance in the centre.
