Dunnet Head ROC Post and WWII Radar station
Being the most northerly point on the UK mainland Dunnet Head was an important strategic location during WWII.  It was one of the locations where the Navy set up a[url=http://www.subbrit.org.uk/sb-sites/sites/d/dunnet_head/index.shtml] Radar station[/url] to detect U Boats passing into the Atlantic.  In the this picture green blocks are the Cold War ROC post and the grey building are what is left of the Radar station.
