Entrance drive to Achamore House, Gigha
In 2002 the Island of Gigha was purchased by its residents and Achamore House and Gardens fell into the ownership of the Isle of Gigha Hertiage trust.  The house was sold to help pay for the purchase of the Island but the [url=http://www.gigha.org.uk/viewItem.php?id=8845/] gardens [/url] are now open to the public with a wide range of unusual plants.
