MV Jupiter heading across the Clyde
The late afternoon sun catches Jupiter as she crosses the Clyde to Rothesay. She was sold for scrap in 2011 having operated the Dunoon run for over 30 years. She could carry 512 passengers and 38 cars at 12 knots, but was replaced in 2005 by a larger ship that can carry more vehicles. The mountains of Arran can be seen in the distance on the right hand side.
