Grey Squirrel, Levern Walkway, Barrhead

Cute or pest, you decide! Introduced from North America it has rapidly taken over from the indigenous Red Squirrel in most of mainland Britain. It is predominant in central Scotland and the Red Squirrel now only survives in Dumfries & Galloway and the Highlands.
