Stern view of HMS Daring, BAE Systems Scotstoun
Taken in may 2007 when D32 was still fitting out. She was handed over to the Royal Navy in late 2008. She won't be fully operation until around 2012 since its main weapon system, the PAAMS/Sea Viper air defence system won't be fully tested until then. Meanwhile, the Royal Navy has a very large and expensive Gin palace with a 4 inch gun at the bow to go cruises with.
