Glen Fruin, early spring
Most tourist by-pass Glen Fruin as they head up Loch Lomond. It runs from near Loch Lomond over to Gairloch giving spectacular view over Gairloch. This view is from old road with Balcnock rising to 638 metres in the background. A new road was constructed in the 1980's to give easier access to Coulport for Trident warhead convoys.
