Caldwell Tower, South eastern view
This category B listed building stands on the hill  overlooking Uplawmoor.  It dates from around the 15th century and was part of the medieval Caldwell Manor.  This tower is all that remains of the original Manor, much of the stone is said to have been sued to build the Hall of Caldwell a couple of miles away.  The twoer was restored to its current condition by the Mure of Caldwell.
