Carsfad Loch, Galloway
Carsfad Loch is an artificial loch standing behind the dam of Carsfad Hydro Power Station, part of the Galloway Hydro Scheme.  In the distance the surge tower at Kendoon Power station can be seen, also part of the same scheme, built in the 1930's and still in use today.
