Hill Fort, Duncarnock Hill
Duncarnock Hill, or The Cragie as it is more commonly known, has the remains of an Iron Age fort on it. These forts consisted mainly of earth works which means there isn't a great deal left to see after a few thousand years of erosion and other activity. This photo shows a grass mound along the eastern side of the hill. On the horizon on the right hand side are the Cathkin Braes.
