FR380, Kings Cross, Fraserburgh Harbour
The latest in hi-tech fishing boats.  Built in 2003  by Eidsvik Skipsbyggeri in Norway she is 70m (229ft) long and displaces some 2300 tons, her engines can develop 4.9MW of power.  She is amongst the largest fishing vessels in the UK fleet with accomodation for up to 12 crew.  She normally uses the Purse Seine fishing technique.
