Viking Longboats approach the shore during the 2002 Largs Viking Festival

The Great Cumbrae is in the background and behind that the silhouette of Arran. Much to the amazement of all the onlookers some of those on board actually got out the boats and waded the last 100 metres in the freezing cold water!
